Motivation:
• The teacher will motivate the students by singing the rhymes related to the topic.
The dog says “bow .. bow…”
The cat says “mew… mew… “
The goat says “may… may….”
The cow says “maa… maa…”
The crow says “kaa… kaa…”
The parrot says “kee… kee…”
The cuckoo says “coo… coo…”
The duck says “quack.. quack…”

Content Transaction:
• The teacher will read and explain the story “Dona’s Song”
• The teacher will facilitate the students to read the story.
• The teacher will encourage the students to identify the names of the sounds the animals make.
• The teacher will read the words in the word wall in the text book given on Text Book Page No. 61.

• The teacher will encourage the students to read the story in pairs.
• Students are asked to discuss about the theme and main points of the lesson in the groups.

Individual Activities:
• The teacher will help the students to do the activity given under “Let us practice” given on Text Book Page No. 62.
• The teacher will help the students to present their activities.
• Students are asked to write the learnt matters in their low level board.

Reinforcement:
• The content with the above learning outcomes may be taught once again to the late bloomers.
• Also QR Code videos for the above content may scanned and played for reinforcing the learning outcomes.
