Dakshana offers a JEE/NEET coaching scholarship for Class 12 (Science) students from government schools across India. The scholarship, for a year after Class 12, includes free coaching, free accommodation, and food for a year at the Dakshana Valley Campus, close to Pune.

Dakshana Joint Selection Test Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for the JDST 2023, If you are a student in Class 12 (Science), during the year 2022-23, at a government/aided school (You should have appeared in your class XII board exam by May 2023) AND Your annual family income from all sources is less than INR 2 Lakh. There is no income criteria for Physically Disabled (PD) candidate.

Please note that filling the JDST Application form does not guarantee that you will be invited to appear for the JDST 2023. This application is NOT to be filled by students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNVs)

Dakshana Joint Selection Test Selection Process

Selection Process for the JDST 2023: For Students studying in Govt./Aided schools (Not for JNV school students)

Step 1: Check the eligibility* at apply.scholarship.dakshana.org and fill out the application form.
Step 2: After filling out the application form, you will get a link on your registered mobile number and email to appear for a 30-minute eligibility test online. Eligibility Test: This is a 30 min online Aptitude Test (Verbal, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude). The link for this will be sent to your registered mobile & email ID. The eligibility test will be conducted from Sept 2022 till Dec 2022
Step 3: Appear for the eligibility test on your mobile/laptop/desktop from your home/school.
Step 4: After 1st round of shortlisting (based on the Eligibility Test), Fill out the Dakshana Scholar Application (DSA)
Step 5: Download admit card (after filling DSA) and Appear for JDST 2023. The exam will be conducted online at a test center. You need to bring your android (version 8 and above) mobile.
Step 6: After the 2nd round of shortlisting (based on JDST 2023), Appear for the Interview & Document Verification.
Step 7: Students selected in the interview will be offered Dakshana One-year Scholarship.

Dakshana Joint Selection Test Format

The duration of each of the tests will be 3-hrs. The test will consist of 25 single-option correct type questions each in Logical Reasoning, Maths/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Each right answer is awarded 3 marks and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer

Number Series, Letter Series, Analogies, Cause & Effect, Verbal Classification, Blood Relations, Logical Sequence of Words, Direction Sense Test, Logical Venn Diagram, Data Sufficiency, Coding Decoding, Assertion and Reason, Analysing Arguments, Logical Problems, Course of Action, Matching Definition, Syllogism, Statement and Assumptions

Non-Verbal:
Image Series, Construction of Shapes, Classification, Picture Analogies, Rule Detection
