How To Deactivate & Unlist Phone Number?
To deactivate your number:
• On Android: Tap on the profile icon > Settings > Privacy Center.
• On iPhone: Tap on the profile avatar (upper left) > Settings > Privacy Center.
It can take up to 24 hours before your number gets removed due to caching processes. Numbers marked as spam cannot be unlisted.
Note:
If the number is still searchable, it’s because it’s stored locally in the phone you previously searched on. Clear the history or cache the memory and try again.
How To Deactivate & Delete Truecaller Account?
As a user, you have full control of your account with Truecaller. If at any time you wish to deactivate/delete your Truecaller account, you may simply select the ‘Deactivate’ option by going to Settings > Privacy Center menu within the Truecaller app. Once you deactivate your account, go to www.truecaller.com/unlisting/ and enter the number that you want to remove.

How To Change Name In Truecaller?
If your number is showing a wrong name in Truecaller, you can correct it yourself (if you have Truecaller installed). If you do not have it installed, we would suggest installing the app and changing the name yourself as the fastest option. If you are a Truecaller user, you can change your name within the app itself. Here are the instructions:
On Android:
Step 1: Open the app and tap on the profile icon in the top left corner
Step 2: Tap ‘Edit profile’. (screenshots further below)

Important:
If you’ve recently updated your profile it may take up to 24-48 hours for your details to be updated. (It’s also possible that your phone has locally saved the old information. We suggest that you clear the search entry of your number in the app. If you have an Android device you can also go to your ‘phone settings > Apps > Truecaller > Clear Cache’ then try again.)
