Tamil Nadu SSP Scholarship 2024
The Government of Tamil Nadu is providing scholarships under the free education and post-school programs to the backward, most backward and underprivileged students studying under government quota in government, government-aided educational institutions and private vocational colleges. Apply at ssp.tn.gov.in by 29.2.2024. For the academic year 2023-2024, the fresh scholarship applications are invited from eligible SC/SCC/ST First year students from 01.02.2024. All the SC/SCC/ST students are requested to submit their application forms on or before 29.02.2024.

Free Education Scholarship:
Scholarship is awarded unconditionally to students pursuing three-year undergraduate degree in Government and Government-aided Arts and Science Colleges. Scholarship is provided to students studying in Government, Government aided and self-financed educational institutes and polytechnics and vocational education, who are the first in the family and whose parents’ annual income does not exceed Rs.2,50,000/-.
School Postgraduate Scholarship:
Tuition fees and special fees for government educational institutions in full, examination fees, book fees etc. for students pursuing ITI, Diploma, Masters, Vocational and Research courses in government and government aided colleges whose parents’ annual income does not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- Educational assistance is given as stipend.
Accommodation Charges:
Students staying in hostels will be given a subsidy of Rs.4000/- for 10 months at the rate of Rs.400/- as boarding and lodging fees.
How To Apply For Tamil Nadu SSP Scholarship 2024?
Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal (TNSSP) is a single window platform for all the scholarship schemes offered by various departments of the state. This portal envisage to provide an end-to-end solution for all the scholarship schemes starting from online student registration, verifications and disposal of application online, sanction and disbursal of various scholarships to the students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

• Visit Tamil Nadu State Scholarship Portal
• Click On ‘Student Login‘ (Login For School Students) Link
• Enter the Aadhaar Number in the space provided
• Hit the ‘Proceed’ Button
Documents Required For Tamil Nadu SSP Scholarship 2024
Students should enter the details of the following documents in Student login at https://ssp.tn.gov.in.
1. Caste Certificate (e-certificate only)
2. Income Certificate (e-certificate only)
3. First Level Graduate Certificate (e-certificate only)
4. Students studying in self-financed vocational colleges should submit a copy of the government allotment (e-Counseling order copy).
5. Aadhaar Number Card (M) along with linked mobile number details
6. Linking of Nationalized / Public Sector Aadhaar Number with Bank Account Number IFSC 616001 is necessary. This should also be done on the website https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper and ensure that the account number is active.
Note:
Copies of the above documents should be submitted to the Principals of the concerned educational institutions. The scholarship will be paid directly to the student’s bank account. For more details, they can approach the Principal of the college they are studying in or the District Backward and Minority Welfare Office
