Chief Minister Raita Vidyanidhi Programme is launched by Union Minister for Agriculture Narendra Singh Tomar. Under this scheme, children of farmers will get scholarship.

The Central government has set aside Rs 1.5 lakh crore under Atmanirbhar Yojana to provide basic facilities for farmers to store their produce. Several programmes initiated by Agriculture department in Karnataka were a model for other states

Prime Minister Modi has set a target of doubling the income of farmers. For this, the central and state governments are working together, so that we will definitely be able to achieve this target by next year. Tomar said that to increase the power of small farmers, the Prime Minister has launched a plan to create 10,000 new FPOs at a cost of Rs 6,850 crore. Under PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 1.58 lakh crore has been given to 11.37 crore farmers in their bank accounts so far.

Through the Kisan Credit Card scheme, a target has been set to give Rs 16.5 lakh crore to farmers to reduce their dependence on moneylenders. Out of which, at present, liquidity of Rs 14 lakh crore is being made among the farmers with a subsidy of 3 percent interest.

To prevent post-harvest losses and develop infrastructure by filling the gaps, the Prime Minister has made a provision of more than 1.5 lakh crore rupees in agriculture and allied sectors under the Self-Reliant India Campaign. Out of which one lakh crore rupees have been given as Agriculture Infra Fund.
