Steps: • Download the application form from the official Madras University website or visit the Institute of Distance Education (IDE) office. • Complete the application form accurately, providing all the required details • Attach all the necessary documents as mentioned below. • You can submit the application form and documents in person at the Institute of Distance Education office or by post. • Submit the demand draft for the prescribed fee along with the application form. • Once your application is approved, you will be notified. • Visit the Institute of Distance Education office to collect your duplicate degree certificate.

The following should be accompanied with the application towards issue of the Duplicate
• Degree Certificate. • The candidate should enclose the photocopy of the student’s ID card, Aadhar card and Transfer / Course Completion Certificate. • A copy of the Provisional / Convocation Certificate should be enclosed. • A Demand Draft / Online payment for a sum of Rs.* drawn in favour of the “The Director, IDE, University of Madras”. • Kindly send a separate D.D. / Online payment for issuing Duplicate Mark Statement & Name Correction have to be applied separately.
