Goa Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For SC Students
To motivate students by giving merit based Award based on the benchmark of the performance and to provide financial incentive to high performing students who are economically weak.
Eligibility of Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For SC Students
(A) Felicitation of Rank Holders Students:
Under the scheme, amongst the SC students, First Five Rank Holders of SSC, First Five Rank Holders of HSSC Board exams (separately for all the streams of Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational) will be felicitated in public function. Certificate of Appreciation will be given at the time of felicitation. Financial award of Rs. 20,000/- will be transferred electronically in the Bank Account of the Rank Holder Students. There is no restrictions on the basis of income ceiling.
(B) Merit based Award:
For SC students whose annual family income is less than Rupees two lakhs having secured the requisite bench mark percentage.
Scholarship Amount of Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For SC Students
(a) Students securing marks in the range (between 50% to 59.99%) will be given a Scholarship financial award of Rs. 5000/-.
(b) Students securing marks in the range (between 60% to 69.99%) will be given a financial award of Rs. 8000/-.
(c) Students securing marks in the range (between 70% to 74.9%) will be given a financial award of Rs. 10,000/-.
(d) Students securing 75% marks and above will be given a financial award of Rs. 15000/-.
Steps to Apply For Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For SC Students
Registration:
Students/Beneficiaries are required to register on portal with minimum details to fill application online.
Online Application:
After Registration and login on the portal, Students can fill online application form.
Documents Upload:
Required documents has to be scanned and uploaded on portal after online application.
Submit To School / Institute / Directorate:
After application and upload of required documents, student can submit application to School/Institute/Directorate for verification.

• Copy of Aadhar Card
• An attested copy of Social Status certificate
• Income Certificate
• One attested copy of certificates of educational qualification
• Resident Certificate
• Copy of Bank Account of student
• Birth certificate / proof as Goan Origin
• One copy of the Passport size photograph
