Goa Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For ST Students
Objective of the “Merit Based Award” and recognition of high performance in the Board Exams of SSC and HSSC in the State of Goa scheme is to motivate students by giving Merit Based Award on the benchmark of the performance and to provide financial incentives to high performing students are economically weak.
Eligibility of Goa Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For ST Students
1. Felicitation of Rank Holder Students:- Under the Schemes, amongst the ST students, First Five Rank Holders of SSC, First Five rank Holder of HSSC board exams (separately for all the streams of Science, Commerce, Arts and Vocational) will be felicitated in public function. There are no restrictions on the basis of income ceiling.
2. Merit Based Award for ST students whose Annual Family Income is less than Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum having secured the requisite bench mark percentage.
Assistance of Goa Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For ST Students
• The Benefit is given as ₹ 20,000 for the first five rank holders of SSC &HSSC Boards Exam and
• ₹5,000/- for 50% to 59.99% of SSC & HSSC Board exams
• ₹ 8,000/- for 60% to 69.99% of SSC & HSSC Board exams
• ₹ 10,000/- for 70% to 74.99% of SSC & HSSC Board exams
• ₹ 15,000/- will be given for 75% &above of SSC & HSSC Board exams
Steps to Apply For Goa Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For ST Students
Registration:
Students/Beneficiaries are required to register on portal with minimum details to fill applicaiton online.
Online Application:
After Registration and login on the portal, Students can fill online application form.
Documents Upload:
Required documents has to be scanned and uploaded on portal after online application.
Submit To School / Institute / Directorate:
After application and upload of required documents, student can submit application to School/Institute/Directorate for verification.
Documents Required For Goa Merit Based Scholarship Scheme For ST Students
• Copy of Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
• Copy of Income Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
• Copy of Mark Sheet
• Receipt of Fees Paid
• Copy of Bank Pass Book(Nationalized Bank Accounts recommended)
