BSE Odisha PMST Exam
Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test is organized and managed by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. The aim of this test is to identify the meritorious students from govt. and govt. aided schools in the state of Odisha for nurturing their talent in the field of Mathematics. Those candidates who want to apply need to fill and submit the application form in online mode. Aspirants must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.

PMST Eligibility
Applicant should ensure their eligibility before going for the online application form. The application form is accepted only when you are eligible for the test. Pathani Samanta Mathematics Scholarship Test will be conducted for the following two separate stages.
Stage I :
Students reading in Class 6th are eligible, who have secured more than 50% marks in Mathematics in last Class 5th Annual Examination.
Stage II :
Students reading in Class-9th are eligible, who have secured more than 50% marks in Mathematics in last Class 8th Annual Examination.
Note: Only the candidates belonging to Odia medium schools are allowed for the scholarship test.
PMST Exam Pattern
• The PMS Test will be conducted through Objective Type Questions only.
• There will be 60 objective multiple-choice questions carrying 150 total marks.
• The PMST will be administered in the OMR answer sheet.
• In PMST Exam Each question will have four options
• Students have to darken the correct option in a blue/ black ballpoint pen.
PMST Scholarship Amount
1st Stage:
Number of Scholarships: 4000
Participants: Students of class 6th
Amounts: Rs. 200/- per month for 7 years (from class 6th to 8th)
Condition: Scholarship in the following years will be provided only if the candidate scores 60% or more marks in aggregate in the final examination in the previous year.
2nd Stage:
1000 Scholarships for students of Class-IX @ Rs.300/- P.M
3rd Stage:
300 Scholarships for students of Class-XI @ Rs.500/- P.M.
