Who Are Eligible For Tamil Nadu Ungal Kanava Sollungal Scheme 2026?
The Ungal Kanava Sollungal scheme is a broad public consultation and survey initiative, making almost all residents of Tamil Nadu eligible to participate. Rather than providing immediate financial benefits to a specific subgroup, the scheme is designed to collect feedback and aspirations from the following categories:
Households:
Approximately 1.91 crore families across the state are being visited by volunteers to provide feedback on 65 government welfare schemes and list their top three aspirations for their family or locality.
Youth:
Individuals aged between 15 and 29 can participate through a dedicated website to share two immediate and two long-term dreams for the state’s vision for 2030.
Non-Resident Tamils (NRIs):
Those of Tamil origin living abroad are invited to contribute their vision for the state’s development.

Door-to-Door Surveys:
About 50,000 trained volunteers (mostly from women’s self-help groups) visit each home twice.
Aspiration Mapping:
Families are asked to list their three priority future aspirations for their household or local community.
Digital Tracking:
Responses are recorded via a mobile app developed by TNeGA (Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency).
Dream Cards:
Each household is issued a “Dream Card” containing a unique tracking ID, allowing them to monitor the status of their requests on the official website

Massive Household Survey:
