Deletion of Member in Puducherry Ration Card
To delete a member from a Puducherry ration card, submit a deletion request online via the Department of Civil Supplies portal (or) offline at the local Zonal/Mamlatdar office. Required documents include the original ration card, Aadhaar card of the member, and proof of reason (e.g., death certificate, marriage certificate, or relocation).
Note:
Applicant must provide consent for using his Aadhaar number for ration card service. If the person to be removed is the realtionship head of the family, then update the next member as the head of family and alter the relationship of other members accordingly. The name will be removed based on the documents.
Steps For Citizen Registration:
• Go to the link given below
• Select the District and enter the ration Card Number.
• OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify.
• Check the displayed card details for accuracy.
• Agree to the terms and conditions to proceed.
• User name and password will be sent via SMS to this mobile number after successful confirmation of OTP.
• User name will be your Ration card number for resetting of your password.
• Contact toll free number in case of any doubts/queries.
